How Does the Percentage Grading Scale Work in Polish Schools?

Grades are determined by percentage thresholds. The standard Polish grading scale is: 0-34% = 1 (fail), 35-49% = 2 (sufficient), 50-74% = 3 (satisfactory), 75-89% = 4 (good), 90-97% = 5 (very good), 98-100% = 6 (excellent).

Keep in mind that thresholds may vary between schools β€” some teachers use custom scales. If you want to check your overall grade average, try our weighted average calculator.
